    • We live our lives as individuals day to day, believing we are playing by the rules and making decisions we believe are best for our interests. Yet, those we elect change or ignore the rules for political power. Even when we go to the polls en masse, even when the people speak, majority votes are ignored and politicians play games behind closed to subvert the vote. Divided by race, gender, nationality, and class, we’re all simply pawns without a true voice. We’re the first to be sacrificed and very few of us are left on the board at the end of the game.

      When a new game is started, we’re excited and motivated and ready for a win… even though we know by game’s end, we’ll have been removed from play and forgotten.
