The Isolator is a bizarre helmet invented in 1925 which was used to help increase focus and concentration by rendering the wearer deaf, piping them full of oxygen, and limiting their vision to a tiny horizontal slit. I would totally freak with that thing on me! Imagine – this was invented in a time when we didn’t have Internet and social media to distract us. Wondering what they were distracted about? Maybe real life stuff. I have no idea what that would be 😉
