Felicia I love that movie Eraser and I always liked Vanessa Williams. This song is lovely.

Great choice! The Miss America Pagent was out to disgrace Vanessa Williams for a bad choice she made before she was crowned as the first African American titleholder. They stripped her of the crown and all that went with it. Since then she has become a very skilled actor, singer, and all-around beautiful person (inside and out). This song kind of follows that – the pageant being the old love and all her adoring fans as the new one.

To me it is strange that the theme song for the movie was NOT on the soundtrack!? Something fishy going on there. It has been since Eraser came out that I have seen it. Maybe time to give it another watch. She is such a lovely woman and talented!
